Due to a bus driver shortage, MCPS will be cancelling two routes tomorrow morning (12-13-24): Bus 153 and Bus 202.
If possible, we’re asking affected families to find alternate transportation for tomorrow morning. However, if families are unable to transport students to school, please contact the MCPS bus garage at (270) 692-4150 in the morning and a bus will be sent to transport students after completing its normal route. These students will not be counted as tardy.
At this time, we expect all bus routes to be covered tomorrow afternoon.

The MCPS School Nutrition department is seeking community members who would like to participate in the review of the School Wellness Policy. Those interested are asked to contact MCPS School Nutrition Director Jennifer Wheeler by email at jennifer.wheeler@marion.kyschools.us.
The policy review group will meet on Tuesday, November 19.
Don't forget: Community members are invited to hear Michael DeLeon speak tomorrow (11-14) from 4:00-5:00 at the MCHS cafeteria. DeLeon is an expert on vaping and THC. From MCPS Transportation: Starting Monday, October 28, bus route 151 will be canceled; other routes have been modified to transport these students. Mark your calendars for November 6 for this free Parent Night event focused on cyber safety.
Soon, we'll start handing out this trophy to the elementary school with the highest average attendance for the month. So far in October, it's a very close race! Stay tuned to find out which school has the highest attendance!

The Marion Co. Board of Education will accept letters of interest for
Business\Community Leader representatives to serve on the Local
Planning Committee (LPC) to develop the District Facilities Plan.
Nominees must submit a letter of agreement to serve on Committee
by 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2024 at the Board Office, 755
East Main St., Lebanon KY 40033. Letters can be sent through US
Mail or hand delivered, no electronic or faxed copies will be accepted.
Three (3) individuals will be selected by the members of the Board
of Education to serve on committee. Employees and members of the
Marion Co. Board of Education aren’t eligible to serve as the Business\
Community members of the LPC.
