***Reading tip***
Early readers (reading levels 1-4) need to point under the words when reading 1:1. Pointing under the word helps draw the eyes to the word. If the finger is above or on the words during reading, the eyes may not see the entire word.
If students are writing sentences backward (Right to Left), they need to read 1:1. This will help them establish left to right.

*****Parents you must send a note if there are any transportation changes. This allows teachers to make sure students get to their correct destination.*****
Parent Drop off:
Parents please make sure that you are still using the roundabout at the bottom of the hill. This allows traffic to stay off of the main road.
Also, in the afternoon please make sure that you are stopping and allowing the buses to exit safely when they are coming down the hill from the back of the school.
From Mrs. Morgeson:
Please make sure your child(ren) are NOT eating around their Chromebooks. We have had several Chromebooks brought in because they aren't working correctly and it's because the keyboard is full of crumbs or the cord is sticky from a spilled drink or melted candy.
Parents:
You can download the Box Top app. With the app you are not required to cut out Box Tops anymore. You can easily scan your grocery store receipt and apply it to GES. Thank you to everyone that participates!!!
