Announcements from the Office
Beta - Beta Convention payments are due Monday at 10:00 am! If you are unsure of how much you owe, please contact Carrie Thompson or Toby Tungate. If we do not receive your payment, we will have to remove the student from the trip.
Dental Care - Any parent interested in School Based Dental Care for their child, please contact Van Gadberry at (270) 692-4578. Healthy Kids Dental Services will be available at school February 9th if there is enough interest.
Winter Dance - We will have a Winter Wonderland formal dance on January 14th, 6:00-8:00 pm.
Please be sure to bring a charged Chromebook to school each day!!

Announcements from the Classroom
6th grade math - We have started our unit on Integers and Coordinate Graphing. Work on iReady lessons for the 3rd nine weeks. Once again 10 lessons are required to be completed and passed. Any lessons completed and passed beyond the 10 required will be extra credit up to five points per lesson up to 50 points.
Camelot Science - Our classes will continue with our "Matter" unit.
ELA 6th grade - We are starting our unit on figurative language.
Soccer
For anyone interested in playing middle school soccer, there will be a parent/player Informational Meeting on Mon, Jan 17th, 6:00 pm, at Marion County Knight Academy gym. This is for grades 6-8th. If you have a current physical, please bring it that night. The week of Feb 21-25 are projected tryout dates.
