As shared in this week's Knights in the Know parent newsletter, we have opened a school store we named The Shield Shop. Students earn Knight bucks from their teachers for exhibiting the traits of being good knights - Kind, Needed, Independent, Goal-setters, Hardworking, Thoughtful, and Successful. Students use their knight bucks to purchase snacks, drinks, and small toys, or they can choose to save their bucks for larger purchases such as Knights shirts, sketchbooks or journals, building or modeling kits, movies, sports balls, etc. The store is a "work in progress." We have added 2 tables and chairs for them to sit and enjoy their snack and socialize, and we are working on adding some fun features for them to enjoy with friends during their visit. We have created a short Shield Shop video for you to experience the shop for yourself! We are also asking for your help. Two wish lists have been created to show you the types of items and toys we need to keep our shelves stocked for students. You do not have to purchase directly from these lists (some of the items can be purchased cheaper from other stores). These lists will give you an idea of the types of items we would like to have. Please do not purchases gum, slime, or items that make noises! While these are fun and kids love them, we do not want the items that students purchase to get them into trouble when they leave the shop! Items purchased may be dropped off at the school or if choosing delivery our address is listed below. Enjoy the video and thanks in advance for your help!
