This Friday's home football game vs. Moore HS has been moved to Saturday, Oct. 24 with a 6pm kickoff. This change is due to a lack of officials in our area available for Friday night. This will still be our homecoming night.
MCHS teacher Jamie Brown’s Oral and Local History class is partnering with the Marion County Heritage center where they will collect data, interviews and artifacts about our present day historic worldwide pandemic. Brown is asking for community members to visit their website where you will be able to learn more about this project and have the opportunity to participate!

Yesterday, October 15, the MCHS SMILE Club had its first club retreat of the year. We started with a great meal provided by Mrs. Schlosser and got to catch back up with everyone. We got to know our new members and brainstormed new fun and exciting ideas for this school year. We even got to zoom call with the new SMILE club at Glasscock Elementary! We’re so excited for this year!!

From MCHS AD Michael Holt:
Tomorrow's game vs John Hardin is going to be played as scheduled, but here are a few logistics:
1) Gates will open at 6:30
2) Tickets must be purchased through Gofan:Â
https://gofan.co/app/events/102137?schoolId=KY19124
3) When arriving at the stadium you must use the gate farthest from the school beside where the busses will be parked
4) When entering the stadium please make sure you have a mask on, and stays on, except eating/drinking
5) You must sit in the designated area marked for Marion County Fans
6) Lastly you need to have contact tracing form filled out. (If you do not have one yet please see Coach Reader between now and lunch tomorrow to get, they have been sent home with players)

Hey everyone have a safe and healthy fall break next week!
Friday, October 2 will be an NTI day for Marion County Public Schools. This means all students will work independently from home.
Those enrolled in Distance-Learning will not have their typical live video sessions; however, teachers will be available by email if you have any questions.
The reason for this decision is due to confusion surrounding the school calendar. The original 2020-2021 MCPS school calendar included October 2 as a part of the district's Fall Break; the revised calendar did not, although this change may not have been clear to all families. By making October 2 an NTI day, we feel we can best accommodate our families.
